Metropolitan Evansville Transit System (METS) provides transportation for the public on 24 fixed route service areas; informs the public of existing routes, as well as new or improved service; coordinates and plan routes and schedules; keeps a constant check on the effectiveness of service; implements and controls all managerial functions involved with the METS transit operation.
